The Culinary Arts Program was designed to give people an opportunity to reinvent themselves and re-enter the workforce through a Christ–centered rigorous three-year culinary arts program.

The program will not only address culinary skill but treat the total person through character building and team work. These are attributes vital to the success of any culinary professional.

 

ABOUT WALTER K ROBINSON EXECUTIVE CHEF/TEACHER

428b049f8b258e5b003bdae81fffce05_f35Walter initially acquired his love of Italian cooking while attending the many street fairs of Brooklyn, New York where he grew up. Inspired by the “passionate” and hands-on approach these street chefs displayed, Walter went on to study first at the New York Restaurant School and then at the Culinary Institute of America.

Walter currently runs Licken’s with his wife lecturing and demonstrating healthy cooking techniques to the community., and teaches in the new culinary arts program at Prince Georges Community College.
